That's what I kept saying for the last 20 minutes. I sat there in shock, either with my hand over my mouth or yelling at the TV. I was really hoping to feel that great sense of suspense, the spark of "Holy shit, I can't believe what I'm seeing". I haven't felt like that since Not Pictured, so this definitely delivered on that. Veronica Mars has been renewed for 20 episodes. Yay? I guess I should be happy about that, but I don't know why the CW doesn't just go ahead and give them the full 22. Okay, now that? That was the episode the felt the most like a Veronica Mars episode all season. Definitely the best one so far. It was dark, creepy, noir and pretty.
I loved the return of Vinnie and the Fitzpatricks. It looks like they're going to keep looking for Kendall, so their story isn't over, which is fine with me (what will they do when ( Read more... )

I feel like I should say something about Veronica Mars, but my enthusiasm is waning. I still like it, but I'm...disillusioned, I guess? I want to like it more than I do, but right now, it's just blah. I liked last week's episode better than this one. ( I have no clever quote to put here. )

I'm trying a new thing where I make time to post about my shows within a day or two of when they actually air, instead of a week later. Yeah, we'll see how long that lasts. Anyway, VM last night was good. Still fluffy, but good.

So, Supernatural this week was intense. Holy shit. This show just keeps getting better. I didn't think it was possible to top the first season, but it's pretty awesome. No sophomore slump here!
